City Hall
Gibraltar City Hall is located in John Mackintosh Square and is home to the Mayor of Gibraltar. The hall was originally a private mansion built in 1819 by wealthy merchant Aaron Cardozo. It was later used as a hotel before being sold to the colonial authorities in 1922. Shortly afterwards, it became home to the newly formed Gibraltar City Council.
