Peter Kemp is the Chief Fiction Reviewer for The Sunday Times and was formerly its Fiction Editor. A Visiting Fellow of Kellogg College, Oxford, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, he lectures and broadcasts widely on literary topics. His publications include books on Muriel Spark, HG Wells and Edith Wharton, and The Oxford Dictionary of Literary Quotations, which he edited. He is currently writing a book about fiction in English over the past fifty years.
