Gabriel Moreno is a poet born in Gibraltar in 1977. Graduated in Philosophy and Hispanic Studies at the University of Hull, Yorkshire, UK (1995-1999). Masters in Hispanic Literature at the University of Barcelona (2002-2007).
His published works with Omicron in Spanish include, Londres y el susurro de las amapolas, (2007), Voices from the Blue (2007) Cartas a Miranda (2008), La Barca Enterrada (2009), Arboles Plateados (2009) and Identidad y Deseo (2010). Published poetry books in English are The Hollow Tortoise, (2012) Orion Contemporary publishers, Night in Mesogeios, (2014) Annexe Press and The Moon and the Sparrow, (2015) Omicron Publishers. Winner of the Cardoso Poetry Prize in Mexico 2007 and published in several literary magazines in New York, Spain, South America and the United Kingdom. Gabriel Moreno is also an accomplished singer songwriter signed by Amber Records for two albums.
