My memoir Ruskin Park is about an extraordinary woman - my mother. It is told through the thousands of letters I found in our one bedroom council flat after she died. They paint the story of her two love affairs - with the BBC which she joined in 1941 in the war and which caused her to leave a husband who resented her job. And with a BBC colleague many years her junior in the TV Drama department, the father I did not meet until I was an adult. The eveiewer, will be about the journey of discovery the letters took me on.
Join Rory in conversation with Richard Garcia, there will be a short question and answer session from the audience, and an opportunity for a book signing at the end of the event.
