Geraldine is co-director of the excavations at Gorham’s Cave Complex where she has been researching its wildlife for over forty years. She is a bio-geographer whose main work has focussed on the influence of climate on vegetation and bird distribution. She also has an interest in Neanderthal behaviour and has published widely in these fields. Geraldine is also a nature photographer, specifically using her images to support her research. She is a director of the Gibraltar Museum and co-ordinator of the Gorham’s Cave Complex World Heritage Site.
