Presenter Nicholas Parsons brings together a stellar panel of novelist Felix Francis, actress Maureen Lipman, comedian Tony Hawk and broadcaster Pam Ayres

Panel members are challenged to speak for one minute without repetition or deviation on any subject that comes up. Be prepared for the sort of dazzling entertainment that has kept the BBC show going for more than 900 episodes over the last 60 years.

Parsons first came to the fore in the late 50s in a comedy partnership with Arthur Haynes. Alongside Just a Minute, he is well known for presenting Sale of a Century and for his chat show at the Edinburgh Fringe, which has run for 13 years.

Francis is a best-selling thriller writer, who co-authored novels with his father Dick Francis and has now successfully taken on the family writing trade.

Maureen Lipman is a successful actress well known for her television and film roles, who has also published several best-selling books which have been featured in the festival.

Tony Hawks is a TV and radio comedian and bestselling author. He is the author of the bestseller Round Ireland with a Fridge - the story of his absurd quest to hitch round the circumference of Ireland within a month... with a fridge.

Pam Ayres has been a writer, broadcaster, and entertainer for over 40 years. Her latest book is her new collection of poems, “You Made Me Late Again!”, published in hardback in September 2013 by Ebury Press, and paperback in 2015.
