Dr Ahmed Boukhobza is an academic, politician and author. He holds a PhD on the political and social attitudes towards Al’ Andaluz during medieval times and was a professor of History and Geography between 1983 and 2014. Dr Boukhobza has research interests in the history of Islamic culture in the West and is also working on the history of Morocco in ancient times. Dr Boukhobza is a Member of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds and since 2003 has been an elected member of the municipal council of Tetouan.

Amongst Dr. Boukhobza's publications are: The attitudes of Andalusian scholars to political imperatives of the 11th century (2016); together with his colleagues in Tetouan he has published; The general result of the Parliamentarians Mohammed Idaomar and Ahmed Boukhobza between 2011 and 2016 (2016). Forthcoming in 2017 is his book The attitudes of Andalusian scholars in the 11th century.
